Scott G. Bruce
Chief Executive Officer
Scott G. Bruce is the Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Mr. Bruce previously served as Managing Director of Associated Partners, a private investment partnership focusing on creating, operating and investing in wireless communications companies, since its inception in 2006. He also serves as the chief executive officer of AP WIP Investments. Mr. Bruce serves as an independent director of Uniti Group, Inc., a publicly-traded NASDAQ-listed company. Previously, Mr. Bruce was General Counsel and Secretary of Associated Group, Inc., a publicly-traded company that owned various communications businesses, from 1994 to 2000, when it was sold to AT&T/Liberty Media. He also served as Vice President and General Counsel of Associated Communications Corporation, a publicly-traded predecessor company to Associated Group, from 1992 to 1994. Prior to joining Associated Partners, Mr. Bruce practiced corporate law at Wolf, Block, Schorr and Solis-Cohen in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 1987 to 1992. Prior to that, he worked as an auditor in the New York office of Touche Ross & Co. (predecessor to Deloitte) from 1983 to 1985. In connection with Mr. Bruce’s responsibilities at Associated Partners, he has held various board memberships at private companies. Mr. Bruce holds an A.B. in History from Colgate University, an M.S. (Accounting) from the New York University Stern School of Business and a J.D. from the Villanova University School of Law. Mr. Bruce’s operational, management and investment expertise has been gained through years of experience as both an executive and lawyer in the telecommunications and communications infrastructure industries.
Richard I. Goldstein
Chief Operating Officer
Richard I. Goldstein is the Chief Operating Officer of the Company. Mr. Goldstein previously served as Managing Director of Associated Partners, a private investment partnership focusing on creating, operating and investing in wireless communications companies, since its inception in 2006. He also serves as the chief operating officer of AP WIP Investments. Mr. Goldstein currently also serves as lead director of Franklin Square Energy Partners, a position he has held since March 2015. Mr. Goldstein also serves as a member of the board of directors of FS KKR Capital Corp. and FS KKR II Capital Corp. Prior to joining Associated Partners, Mr. Goldstein was vice president of The Associated Group, Inc., or AGI, publicly-traded owner and operator of communications-related businesses and assets. While at AGI, he was responsible for operating AGI’s cellular telephone operations. Mr. Goldstein has served as a director of Ubicquia since 2017. Mr. Goldstein served as a director of Intellon Corporation prior to its acquisition by Atheros Communications, Inc. Mr. Goldstein received a B.S. in Business and Economics from Carnegie Mellon University and received training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Management Information Systems. Mr. Goldstein has extensive experience as a senior executive and in negotiating investment transactions in a variety of industries, including in the energy industry.
Scott Langeland
President
Scott Langeland is the President, overseeing the company’s global operations, strategic initiatives, and long-term value creation strategy. In 2019, Mr. Langeland was appointed Co-Chief Executive Officer of APWireless, where he led the company’s strategic direction and global operations. Prior to this, Mr. Langeland was Executive Vice President and Senior Counsel, responsible for legal and underwriting functions and instrumental in expanding the company’s footprint through the development of asset acquisition structures across new jurisdictions.
Mr. Langeland joined APWireless in October 2010 and has played a vital role in the company’s growth from a start-up to a $3 billion industry leader by driving key initiatives and fostering innovation. His legal expertise encompasses structured finance, commercial real estate, and civil litigation. Mr. Langeland is a Cum Laude graduate of Thomas Jefferson School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
Daniel Hasselman
Chief Revenue Officer
Dan Hasselman is the Chief Revenue Officer, responsible for leading the company’s revenue strategy, driving growth initiatives, and expanding its global footprint. In 2019, Mr. Hasselman was appointed Co-Chief Executive Officer of APWireless, where he led the company’s strategic direction and global operations. Prior to this, he served as President, overseeing both U.S. and international operations. Since co-founding the business in 2010, he also held the position of Managing Director. Mr. Hasselman brings more than two decades of executive experience in the real estate and wireless infrastructure industries.
In May 2007, Mr. Hasselman co-founded Vertical Capital Group, LLC, which originated investments in telecommunications infrastructure assets on behalf of RFS Capital, LLC, where he served as President until launching the APWireless business. Earlier in his career, he established and managed an office for Wireless Capital Partners, LLC, then a leading U.S. telecom lease acquisitions firm. In 2001, Mr. Hasselman founded U.S. Home and Loan, Inc., a subsidiary of Windsor Capital Mortgage Corporation, then the second-largest mortgage brokerage firm in the United States. He played a pivotal role in transforming APWireless from a single start-up into a $3 billion company, establishing it as one of the leading global telecommunications and digital infrastructure investment firms.
Benjamin Lowe
Chief Financial Officer
Benjamin Lowe, Chief Financial Officer, leads the company’s financial operations, including treasury, accounting, financial planning and analysis, and tax functions.
Mr. Lowe joined Radius Global Infrastructure, Inc. from Crown Castle, where he built a successful career, holding the position of Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance and Treasurer. In addition to his financial leadership roles, he held an operational position as Vice President of Leasing and Real Estate Operations. Mr. Lowe holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Political Science from Lenoir-Rhyne University.
Susanne Kandel
General Counsel
Susanne Kandel is the General Counsel of the Company. Ms. Kandel previously served as General Counsel, Latin America and General Counsel, Europe for American Tower Corporation. From 2004-2013, Ms. Kandel was an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in New York City where she represented tower companies, operators and telecommunications industry investors in transactions around the world. She holds a law degree from NYU School of Law and received an A.B. in Religion and Middle Eastern Languages and Literature from Dartmouth College.
